The nominations for the 2007 Emmy Awards have been announced! The award ceremony, which is set to air in September, will celebrate a year’s worth of primetime television. Which show is leading the pack with a whopping 15 nominations? I’ll give you a hint – “Don’t Stop Believin -----”. That’s right, HBO’s ‘Sopranos,’ which aired its final episode this year, will probably end up winning at least a few of the shiny gold statues, barring any major upsets of course.
I think the toughest category to call this year is the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. In that category, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven are both up for an award for their roles in ‘Entourage,’ Neil Patrick Harris scored a very well deserved nomination for his role in ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and Rainn Wilson has been recognized for his hilarity in his role as Dwight on ‘The Office.’

Wow, seeing Neil Patrick Harris on that list just made my day. I always try to get people to take me seriously when I tell them that "How I Met Your Mother" is wonderful!
I agree, Katey! Without NPH, How I Met Your Mother wouldnt be half as funny as it is. He's fantastic. Who ever thought little Doogie would turn out to be such a comedian! I'm torn between him and Kevin Dillon. Johnny Drama makes Entourage laugh-out-loud funny. Plus if he wins, I want him to scream VICTORY!!!
I'm kind of put off by this whole thing. T.R Knight is only being nominated because of the Washington controversy and Kiefer made the list because 24 can't not be nominated...it's 24.
But where the heck is Matthew Fox on that list? Is he getting the cold shoulder again?! What does the guy have to do to get recognized? Honestly, I think Fox has literally disappeared into the character of Jack Shepard, yet he's (year on-end) ignored for his contributions to the hit show.
