CSI:Miami, the first CSI spin-off focuses on a the team of forensic scientists who work for the Miami-Dade Police Department. Headed by Horatio Caine, the team of scientists incorporate both cutting-edge technology with old-fashioned detective work to solve all types of forensic investigations.

Last season, we left off with the CSIs tracking a dangerous serial killer, who escaped while in their custody. With CSI:Miami heading into its 6th season, this year promises to be as exciting as all the rest.


Truthfully, I have never really been a CSI: Miami fan. As a girl from New Jersey, I was always more into CSI: New York rather than the original CSI or CSI: Miami. That being said, all three shows are relatively the same and I believe that if I watched an episode or two of CSI: Miami, I would enjoy it as much as CSI: New York.

However, I know that CSI: Miami has lots of fans out there that will appreciate it. Just not this girl. Hey, there’s only so many “Crime Scene Investigation” shows a girl can watch. I happen to enjoy the one in New York, simply because it’s closer to where I live. If I ever feel like a change of scenery though, or if I feel like trading in Gary Sinise for David Caruso, maybe I’ll check it out. But I probably won't.
