2007 Fall TV Preview: Prison Break On Fox

Prison Break - Season 3Premieres: Monday, September 17, at 8:00 p.m. EST Network: Fox Creator(s): Paul Scheuring Starring: Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Amaury Nolasco, Wade Williams, Robert Knepper, William Fichtner Website:Fox.com  Prison Break, now heading into it’s third season, is about Michael Scofield, who intentionally gets himself thrown into jail in order to help his brother, Lincoln, (framed for the murder of the Vice President’s brother) break out of jail. At the end of season one, Michael, Lincoln, and an assortment of other inmates broke out of Fox River Penitentiary and season two had them all running from the law. When we last saw the brothers, Lincoln had been exonerated of all charges, with the help of a member of the President’s Secret Service team, and Michael had been thrown into Sona, a Panamanian jail that would make Fox River seem like Club Med. Season three starts right where we left off, with Michael walking into the hell-on-Earth that is Sona. In this prison, the inmates are definitely running the asylum.  I’ve been counting the weeks until Prison Break comes back. It seems like it’s been forever since a new episode aired (actually, it’s been 4 months and 4 weeks, but who’s counting?). The past two seasons started at the end of August, but this season is different. The wait is killing me. I want me some Michael Scofield, damnit! Every episode I watch of Prison Break is more intense than the last and I just can’t get enough of it. And sure, it doesn’t help that pretty much the entire cast looks like they belong on the cover of GQ, either! Seriously though, this show is one of my favorites. Every time I think Paul Scheuring can’t possibly top what he’s already done on this show, he proves me wrong! Only 2 weeks and 4 days till I can get my Prison fix!
