2008 Beijing Olympics: Monday, August 18th Schedule

NBC is reporting that an average of 31.1 million people tuned in to watch Michael Phelps win his eighth gold medal, breaking Spitz’s record for most gold medals won in a single Olympic. The high ratings made the broadcast the most viewed Saturday night program in 18 years. The audience peaked at around 40 million by 11:00 p.m., which was when Phelps and his three teammates raced for the gold. With all the Phelps hype, it’s a wonder if anything is going to top that as the 2008 Beijing Olympics marches on. We’ve got the schedule for Monday (Day 10).
