MADtv - Season 14Premieres: Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11:00 p.m. EST Network: Fox Creator(s): David Salzman, Quincy Jones, John Crane (Executive producers) Starring: Arden Myrin, Bobby Lee, Crista Flanagan, Keegan-Michael Key, Nicole Parker, Johnny Sanchez Website: Madtv.com  MADtv is a Fox sketch comedy series in which various comedians parody pop-culture and often use politically incorrect humor to poke fun of current topics. With the upcoming presidential elections we can expect lots of political humor thrown in the mix as well as parodies of Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Amy Winehouse, the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. Jerry O’Connell is set to guest in the 14th season premiere.  I was never much of a fan of MADtv. I was in high school when the series first premiered and by then, I’d already developed a taste for Saturday Night Live. At the time, SNL was at an all time high so I had no reason to switch to MADtv and never felt the urge to watch it since then. But the series still has an audience and I doubt that will change anytime soon, especially for those looking for an alternative to SNL.
