The Office is an NBC comedy series that’s filmed like a reality show (even though it’s completely fictional) and follows the employees of Dunder-Mifflin as they go about their hum-drum jobs selling paper. When the fourth season ended, Michael found out that his ex-girlfriend Jan was pregnant with a sperm-donor’s baby. This put a damper on his newfound attraction to Toby’s replacement, Holly since he chose to get back together with Jan and help her raise her baby. And just as Jim was about to propose to Pam, Andy stole his thunder by surprising Angela with a marriage proposal of his own. Angela said yes but at the end of the season finale, Phyllis spied Angela and Dwight going at it in the office not long after Angela accepted Andy’s proposal.
In the one-hour season premiere, titled “Weight Loss,” the office will attempt to tackle obesity. Also, Pam will leave for art school in New York (which means new receptionist!) and Michael tries to maintain a friendship with Holly.
Below are some video clips from the season premiere. I’ve watched them and they’re all pretty funny. None seem too spoilery but all the same, watch at your own risk!
