Hell’s Kitchen - Season 4 Premieres: Tuesday, April 1, at 9:00 p.m. EST Network: Fox Creator(s): Gordon Ramsay Starring: Gordon Ramsay Website: Fox.com Hell’s Kitchen is a reality competition series in which cooks and chefs from all different culinary backgrounds compete against each other to win the approval of Chef Gordon Ramsey. Each week they perform a number of cooking challenges and work together in teams to prove that they’re capable of taking whatever Ramsey dishes out. If you’re familiar with Ramsey’s persona, then you know what he dishes out usually involves a lot of swearing.
Each week someone is eliminated from the competition. There are also rewards for the team that does the best in each challenge. This helps boost the tension among the contestants because while half the group is celebrating post-challenge, the other half is trying to figure out which person is going to get thrown under the bus. The person who wins the whole season is awarded a job as senior chef at one of Ramsey’s restaurant. In the fourth season, whoever wins will get to work at London West Hollywood, which is set to open this summer.
In general, I don’t really get into these cooking shows but I make an exception for Hell’s Kitchen. I don’t know if it’s the way Ramsey screams at the contestants when they mess up (someone’s always burning the risotto!), the repeated sound of beeps as his swearing is censored or watching the contestants scramble around the kitchen trying to do their job without screwing up enough to get sent home that week. Regardless, Hell’s Kitchen makes kitchen drama tasty good fun. I’m 100% on board for this season.

Chef Ramsey, I am a 40 year old man who has always wanted to be s chef, but have never acted on my dream! I am very interested in going to culinary school could you recomend the best one in the nortwest part pf the U.S. Thank you very much Frank
Dear hell kitchen,
what i love about your show is your tough and you never no who your sending home. I watched the show and i notice even if there at a lower standerd oh cooking you challange them and treat them equally. I actully really like the show wish every one th 2007 luck
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS SHOW IS THAT YOU GET PERSONALLY ATTACHED TO THE CONTEDTANTS AND CHIEF RAMSEY. THIS SHOW IS GREAT BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT THE CHIEF ON THIS SHOW WERE ALL CRUMY EXCEPT THE LAST 3. GOOD LUCK CHRISTINA
I love it when I see peoples reactions to Ramseys rants. All of those individuals that watch the food network and think working in a real kitchen is all hearts and flowers have never worked in the real shit.
There are real chefs out there that treat cooks like that. G.R. just brings it out in the open, with his name and money on the line would you blame him?
