Greatest American Dog - Season 1 Premieres: Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. EST Network: CBS Creator(s): R.J. Cutler Starring: Wendy Diamond, Allan Reznik, Victoria Stilwell (Judges) and Jarod Miller (host) Website: CBS.com
This new reality series follows twelve dog-owners and their canines as they live together and compete against each other to see who has the greatest dog. They (and their dogs) will participate in various challenges and each week the judges, dog critics Wendy Diamond, Allan Reznik and Victoria Stilwell will eliminate one contestant.
The last man (or woman) and dog standing will win $250,000.
Based on the video (below), this series looks like sort of a real-life take on Christopher Guest’s hilarious mockumentary, Best In Show. For me, that’s about the only thing it has going for it. The idea of watching dogs do tricks is probably only going to be appealing enough for me to sit through the first episode. But if the contestants are interesting and there’s enough drama among the humans (and the dogs), it could be worth watching.

I would like this mail to be forwarded to Dave, the guy who had a "bark Mitzvah" for his dog. I absolutely love him! He is my kind a man ... the type I have been looking for for many years. If he is single and available, I would like to meet him. I am as passionate about dogs as he is. Very interested. Please have him contact me!
Thanks!!!
