The Bachelorette - Season 4 Premieres: Monday, May 19, 2008 at 10:00 p.m. EST Network: ABC Creator(s): Mike Fleiss Starring: Chris Harrison (host), DeAnna Pappas Website: ABC.com The Bachelorette is a spinoff of The Bachelor. In this reality series, a woman gets the chance to date 25 men in the hopes of finding Mr. Right. She gets to go on one-on-one dates as well as group dates to get to know the guys and each week, she sends one of them packing.
This season, Deanna Pappas, one of the rejected contestants of a previous season of The Bachelor will turn the tables. Now instead of being one of 25 women, she’ll get to be the bachelorette and have the final say.
I really can’t stand competitive dating series. There’s just something that bothers me about a bunch of people (men or women) competing for the affections of one person. Plus I can’t see how this kind of dating scenario could yield realistic results. How can two people genuinely fall in love under these conditions? Oh, sure, it’s all for entertainment purposes, I know. I guess this kind of thing just doesn’t do it for me. So yeah, needless to say, I won’t be tuning in to check out the season premiere of The Bachelorette. Though I can understand why people would want to watch this season – especially if they saw the way Deanna was rejected on The Bachelor. Hopefully this season will give her (and viewers) the fairytale ending she’s hoping for.

The Oyster Farmer was the BOMB, fron S. Carolina. He was as sweet as pie. My name is Tammy Sue and I'm from Florida. I'm 38 and would love to pick up where you left off. I might be to old and have kids divorced once but he's as cute as a button.
