A&E’s new reality series The Exterminators follows the team at Vexcon, a family of exterminators as they handle some pretty extreme pest cases and work to release as many animals as possible into the wild. From the looks of it, this show is as much about the people in the series as it is about the work they do. Here’s the information that was released about the cast and some video clips:
• Billy: The Rock Star exterminator and the fallible hero and founder of the Vexcon Exterminating Company. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders.
• Ricky: Billy’s younger brother and the black sheep of the family. He used to be a partner in the family business, but now is just an employee, and he wants back in. Ricky is the pawn blamed for everything and is always caught in the middle.
• Donnie: Billy and Ricky’s mom and also the queen bee of the Brethertons. She will be the first to admit that when she is wrong she is never wrong. As the Office Manager of the family business she concedes, “I know they call me a bitch behind my back. But I don’t care.”
• Bill Sr.: Billy and Ricky’s dad. He is the ever-worried and beleaguered patriarch. He’s still recovering from a recent heart attack so he can’t be out in the field helping Billy, but likes to call meetings to discuss how the business is failing. Donnie says, “When daddy ain’t happy, nobody’s happy.”
• Mary: Billy’s very clingy wife. She calls Billy several times a day like a teenager calling her boyfriend. Mary works in the office but does not draw a salary. She is not very well liked; Bill Sr. and Donnie consider her more of a liability than an asset, because she’s not too bright.
