2014 Fall TV Schedule: ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC And The CW Primetime Shows Listed By Day

ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW have released their 2014-2015 schedules, leaving us to sort through the lineups to see what's airing when. With new shows added, cancelled shows removed and some series shifted around the schedule, keeping it all straight can be tricky, which is why we've put together this handy guide, which shows what each night will look like this Fall, among the five major broadcast networks.

”Monday”

Monday night starts off with a Big Bang, or it will for a little while, as CBS has The Big Bang Theory temporarily set up ahead of Mom. The Eye's leaning more toward dramas on Monday night though, with newcomer Scorpion filling out the 9:00 p.m. slot. Also among the new series is Fox's hotly anticipated Batman prequel series Gotham. And at the CW, we have Jane the Virgin, about young adult virgin who gets accidentally artificially inseminated. Meanwhile, NBC has The Blacklist set up at 10:00 p.m., but that'll change once Katherine Heigl's new drama State of Affairs debuts, starting in November.

”Tuesday”

Tuesday night introduces the Arrow spinoff The Flash as well as ABC's half-hour romcoms, Selfie and Manhattan Love Story. ABC will be on their own with the comedies at 8:00 p.m., while Fox has reality series Utopia leading into New Girl and The Mindy Project. CBS's NCIS: New Orleans will go head to head with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and NBC comedies Marry Me and About a Boy. And then at ten, ABC will bring an immortal crime solver to the table, to rival Person of Interest and Chicago Fire.

Wednesday night will have NBC's new Debra Messing drama The Mysteries of Laura going up against Arrow, Survivor, ABC comedies and Hell's Kitchen. New to the night are The Goldbergs (moving from Tuesday night) and Red Band Society, which is Fox's promising teen drama. And over at ABC, new comedy Black-ish will air after Modern Family.

”Thursday”

Thursday night will be all about the comedies for CBS, with The Big Bang Theory eventually settling in at its regular 8:00 p.m. spot. New comedy The McCarthys will air later in the evening. While NBC shifts away from comedy, airing just one hour of comedy (Bad Judge and A to Z) set between The Biggest Loser and Parenthood. For ABC, it's three hours of Shonda Rhimes drama, starting with Grey's Anatomy, leading into Scandal and then the new drama How To Get Away With Murder.

The Amazing Race will kick off Friday night at CBS, with Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods. NBC has an exciting lineup, with returning series Grimm leading into the DC comic adaptation Constantine. As for ABC, the network will pair returning comedy Last Man Standing with new comedy Cristela.

Fox is changing up its Sunday night by adding in a couple of live-action comedies amidst their animation domination block. That's Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Mulaney. ABC is nonstop drama, with Once Upon a Time, Resurrection and Revenge.CBS will debut CSI: Cyber at 10:00 p.m., following Madam Secretary and The Good Wife.
