Fear The Walking Dead Shows Off New Season 4 Characters In Exclusive Pics

After its surprisingly nuanced and relatable third season, Fear the Walking Dead is heading for even more exciting narratives in Season 4, which will welcome The Walking Dead star Lennie James, whose Morgan Jones is crossing over to the companion series. He's not the only new addition, though, as The Gifted's Garret Dillahunt and Lost vet Maggie Grace are also joining the post-apocalyptic fun in Season 4. We've got some exclusive pics from the show to share, and the first one may hint at how the trio will be introduced.

At this point, Morgan's transition from The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead is still being cloaked in mystery, since there will need to be a rather large timeline adjustment of some kind in order to link the shows together. But if this image is anything to go by, Morgan may end up running into Garret Dillahunt's John and Maggie Grace's Althea on his journey south, with Texas as the presumed destination. But where will they be from, what are their goals, and at what point will Morgan decide that he has to kill them and everyone else in his vicinity?

Since Season 3 ended with everyone in dire straits after the dam, Fear the Walking Dead has been keeping mum about the surviving characters that will be back in Season 4. That makes it easy to get excited about the new blood entering the location-swapping narrative, and the extremely talented trio of Lennie James, Garret Dillahunt and Maggie Grace are worthy of their own standalone spinoff. Hopefully we'll see them working together in those early days before they meet up with the Clarks, Strand and whoever else is still around.

Below is a solo shot of Garret Dillahunt, and one wouldn't be insane to assume he might just be a Texas native, considering he's got the look locked down.

Garret Dillahunt knows no genre bounds, so his performances are always ace no matter what kind of show he's in. But I have a sneaking suspicion that his Fear the Walking Dead persona looks stellar to fans who loved him best in HBO's dark western Deadwood, or possibly for his unfortunately short stint on the neo-western Justified. Any way it goes, giving the actor a brimmed hat and a handgun guarantees a great performance, so we can't wait to see the unlucky schmuck he's aiming at in the pic above.

Guess what, everybody? We don't necessarily need to worry about Alicia or Luciana having perished in the between-seasons interim, as we can see stars Alycia Debnam-Carey and Danay Garcia hauling ass below. And neither one of them looks very pleased about the situation they're in.

We also got a new look at one of Fear the Walking Dead's upcoming walkers, and one look into his eyes will make your hearts flutter. (Perhaps Alicia and Luciana are running away from this ugly bugger.)
