December is upon us, which means its time to start counting down to Christmas! Its also time to really start scouring the TV listings in search for good holiday movies. Fortunately, once again, ABC Family is providing a virtual buffet of holiday-themed movies throughout the month of December with their 10th annual “25 Days of Christmas.” The month-long event includes a pretty wide variety of films, some of which are quite Christmasy (Jingle All The Way, The Santa Clause). Other movies included in the event wouldn’t technically be considered Christmas movies but will definitely provide some good clean family fun (Mary Poppins and the first three Harry Potter movies).

This month, ABC Family will also be premiering two Original movies. The first one is titled Holiday in Handcuffs, and stars Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez. The story centers on a woman who, in a moment of desperation, kidnaps a hot guy and drags him home to her parents. It premieres on Sunday, December 9th (8:00 p.m.). The other original movie is Snowglobe, which centers on a woman who wants to have the perfect Christmas and sort of gets her wish when she’s whisked off into a holiday wonderland. It stars Christina Milian and Lorrain Bracco and premieres on Sunday, December 15th at 8:00 pm.

Here’s the trailer for ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas:
