As some of us trudge through piles of snow, daydreaming about Spring, Syfy is also ready to look ahead, teasing the return of Continuum, which will make its way back onto our televisions in April, less than a month after it's expected to premiere in Canada. In addition to the above teaser, which hints at more time travel madness,
Syfy is doing decently with Canadian programming, between Lost Girl and Continuum. The latter was recently renewed by the Canadian network, Showcase, for a second season and itís no surprise that in the States Syfy has nabbed the rights for Season 2, as well.
Last night, Syfy premiered the first episode of Continuum, a new science fiction drama, which aired last year in Canada and made its U.S. debut this week. For those who liked the first episode, we have a clip from next Monday night's "Fast Times" for you to check out, which features an intense moment between law enforcer Kiera and the people she's been pursuing.
Joining Lost Girl among Syfy's Canadian imports is Continuum, a sci-fi series about a cop from the year 2077 who finds herself launched into the past along with the group of terrorists who orchestrated the time traveling event. The concept has promise and Continuum gets off to an exciting start, but whether or not the series holds up beyond that remains to be seen.
