Well guys, itís official. Jennifer Love Hewitt will no longer be parading around in her underwear and setting up appointments for dudes to receive happy endings in a massage parlor. Not on Lifetime, at least. The network did not move forward with a third season renewal of The Client List when it was expected to this past June, and now it turns out the show wonít ever be hitting the schedule, as Lifetime has officially given the drama the axe.
It's been a big month for The Client List. The soapy Lifetime drama wrapped up its second season this month, weeks after we learned that its star, Jennifer Love Hewitt, was expecting a baby with her co-star and eventual fiancť Brian Hallisay. How her pregnancy will affect the production of the show remains to be seen, but from the sound of it, that was a major sticking point in the plans for the future of the series.
New episodes of the drama have featured Riley dealing with the after affects of the return of her husband, trying to keep the client list hidden, and working on the business end to hire on new employees. Itís the latter that takes precedence in the preview, and itís looking like Riley is ready to go out on a limb and hire someone unusualóa male masseuse.
The Client List returns for Season 2 this Sunday night, bringing us back into the scandalous life of Jennifer Love Hewitt's Riley Parks, a woman who finds herself drawn into a secret life when she takes a job working at a massage parlor in an effort to support herself and her kids when her husband leaves her. She soon discovers that this seemingly traditional day spa actually offers a little something extra to some of its clients. Check out some photos for the upcoming season premiere ahead!
Lifetime is sure making the most of its Client List leading lady for this promotional music video. Not only does Jennifer Love Hewitt have vocal talent to go with her acting abilities, she also happens to be beautiful, and - as evidenced by this video - isn't too shy to show off her sexy side with some skimpy attire and a lot of dancing.
Though weíve known Lifetimeís The Client List would be getting a second season for a long while, we didnít know until recently when that season would premiere. Now that Lifetime has chosen a March 10 premiere date for Season 2, itís no surprise that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Season 1 DVD set. The Client List: The Complete First Season will hit DVD on February 26.
Good news for fans of The Client List; Lifetime has renewed the series for a second season after only a month on the air. Not only that, but it will be a longer season as well, with 15 episodes, 5 more than we got in the first season. The strong ratings clearly have Lifetime moving fast to keep the show going
Between her role in TV Land's comedy series Hot in Cleveland, and her current NBC prank series Betty White's Off Their Rockers, Betty White has been keeping busy these days. But apparently, she still has time to drop in on other projects. She lent her voice to the animated film The Lorax, and in less kid-friendly news, she's reportedly set to appear in an episode of Lifetime's new drama series The Client List.
This week ratings were up another 4% in total viewership. The more impressive numbers however, occurred in women between the ages of 18-49, where ratings increased a good 28%. If there were going to be gains for The Client List they likely would be in that demographic, but still a 28% gain is nothing to be ashamed of.
Game Of Thrones Ratings Hold Steady With Season 2 Premiere, Lifetime's Client List Delivers Solid Numbers
Sunday nights continue to be a packed night for television, between whatís offered on network TV, and the growing list of cable channels airing original programming. While HBOís Game of Thrones aired its second episode of Season 2 last night, three Showtime series returned, and Lifetime debuted their new drama The Client List.
The cast of Lifetimeís upcoming series The Client List just got better, or if youíre not averse to lame puns, a bit more divine. Loretta Devine is set to play a role in Lifetime series that sounds like it could be quite a bit more scandalous than what weíve seen from her in recent parts.
While Cybill Shepherd may have graced the small screen with her presence numerous times in recent years, she hasnít been a series regular since the days of Cybill, which premiered in 1995 and wrapped up before the í90ís drew to a close. Thatís about to change though as the actor is set to star alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt in the upcoming Lifetime drama series The Client List.
Naturi Naughton is set to play series regular Kendra on the upcoming Texas-based show. Kendra will play an employee of The Rub, a massage parlor run by Riley (Hewitt). Kendra is described as both attractive and a thorough worker who gives massages.
If you happened to catch the Lifetime movie The Client List last year, thereís plenty more where that come from. The TV movie, which starred Jennifer Love Hewitt is being made into a series, which will star and be executive produced by the Ghost Whisperer star.
