Alias Bad-Girl to Appear in Season Finale of How I Met Your Mother

It appears that Monday night’s episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ (a.k.a HIMYM) will be somewhat of a Buffy-verse reunion. Set to appear in the season finale of ‘HIMYM’ is the one and only, Amy Acker. More commonly known for her role as Fred in the ‘Angel’ series, Acker’s most recent work has been her role as the resident evil-doer in the final season of ‘Alias’. And now, as though the TV-Gods have heard Matt Sinopoli’s cries for “MORE ACKER!”, she’ll be appearing in ‘HIMYM’.

Another Angel Alumn who’s appeared in ‘HIMYM’ is Alexis Denisof. Aside from being the real-life husband of Alyson Hannigan, Denisof played Wesley in both the ‘Buffy’ and ‘Angel series. On ‘HIMYM’, Denisof plays Sandy Rivers, the co-anchor that Robin brings as her date to an award show. Mr. Rivers will apparently be back for the finale. I don’t know about anyone else but I can’t wait to see what kinds of stuff Ted sticks in his hair this time!

The season finale for HIMYM is set for Monday 5/15 at 8:30 pm.
