American Idol Season 11 Preview: Group Rounds Commence Tonight

The group performances may be my favorite part of the audition process in the earlier rounds of American Idol. Maybe I’m just a sucker for drama, but it’s great to see the contestants trying to find their groups and managing to work together. There’s also the issue of the late-night practicing, which tends to put the contestants on edge.

Fox is calling this week’s episodes the “craziest, not-to-be-missed Hollywood week ever” and after last night’s episode’s ending, they may be right about that. While it seems young Symone Black is ok after having fallen off the stage, the contestants moving over to the group round have their work cut out for them.
