It’s been a while since we’ve heard news from Arsenio Hall and his late night talk show. Back in August, The Arsenio Hall Show was officially cleared to move forward after being picked up in 85% of markets. However, it seems U.S. audiences have more confidence in Arsenio than that, and now the man’s late night talk show is close to clearing all markets.

According to Deadline, The Arsenio Hall Show has now cleared 95% of all markets in the United States. Since the show isn’t expected to premiere until the fall (September 9, to be exact), that still leaves plenty of time to try to earn contracts in a few more lucrative markets. The show will mostly air around the country in 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. slots on Tribune Broadcasting and CBS syndicated stations. Hall and John Ferriter will executive produce the program.

NBC initially announced Hall would be returning to television just a couple of months after his Celebrity Apprentice win, which presumably was the freshest time frame available to announce the man's comeback. While I’m a little surprised Hall won’t be competing with late, late night fodder (the producers weren’t going to pit the man up against Leno or Kimmel, etc.), it’ll be nice to see how he does back on television in a regular capacity. Hall proved he was likeable during last year’s Celebrity Apprentice, but his interviewing skills have to be a little rusty. Hopefully, he plans to spend the next few months practicing.
