For some of you who don’t want to wait until November 24th to see the big “Razor” episode of Battlestar Galactica, you’re in luck (or you might be)! According to The Chicago Tribune, there will be free screenings of the episode in movie theaters in eight cities on November 12th. For instructions on how to obtain tickets, read on.
The Tribune reported that the screenings will take place in theaters in Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle and Chicago. On Friday (10/26), a website will go live that will give BSG fans the opportunity to sign up for tickets. It’s a first-come/first-serve thing and as The Tribune didn’t list the actual time that the site will go live, if you really want to get tickets, you might need to prepare to camp out online hitting refresh. The Tribune listed the web address as battlestarevent.com. Clicking that before Friday will re-route you to an Events Management company. Battlestar Galactica: Razor is a special 84 minute long episode focusing on the crew of Battlestar Pegasus during the time when Cain ran the ship as well as the days when Lee was in command. I’ve seen the episode and without spoiling anything, I will just say that it’s fantastic and will probably be frakking amazing on the big screen so if you’re near one of those cities, try to get tickets!
