Battlestar Galactica Season 4.5 Premieres In January

If you're one of the many (many, many) geeks out there who has been waiting on the edge of your seat to see how it's all going to end for our favorite humans and Cylons on Battlestar Galactica, we have some excellent news for you! You'll only have to wait a couple more months!

I think a lot of us expected the second half of the fourth and final season of BSG to premiere some time closer to the spring but apparently not! NBC Universal announced today that Season 4.5 will premiere on Sci Fi on Friday, January 16, 2009. We'll have ten weeks of BSG-Fridays and then we'll have to let the series go (and make room in our schedules for the prequel-spinoff series, Caprica!).

When the first half of Season 4 of BSG ended, the humans (and some Cylons) arrived at earth only to find the planet abandoned. How's it all going to end? Can't wait to find out!
