Big Brother 10: Winners Of Parts 1 And 2 of The Final HoHAuthor: Kelly West

Big Brother is coming to a close and if you’re a fan of Memphis, Dan or Jerry, you’re probably excited to know which two houseguests won the first two parts of the three-part final Head of Household competition. I’ve been scouring the live feed reports and thanks to the people posting updates, we now know which two houseguests will face off tomorrow night during the live show. If you don’t want to know who they are, read no further!
Ok, you’ve been warned. In case you’re a little fuzzy on how the whole three-part HoH competition works. The winner from last night’s endurance competition (which began at the end of the live show) and the winner of the competition that took place today will compete against one another during tomorrow (Thursday) night’s live show. Whoever wins that one will evict one of the other two houseguests during the live show and that leaves the final two to sit it out for a couple of days, waiting for their chance to talk to the jury and answer questions about their game in the hopes of winning enough of the seven evicted houseguests’ votes to secure the win. Still ready to be spoiled? From what I read over at Jokersupdates.com, Jerry was off his plane before the feeds came back after Tuesday night’s live show. That left Dan and Memphis in a stand-off (literally) up on their planes. They spent just under an hour performing the balancing act before Memphis fell (supposedly losing his balance) and Dan won Part 1. Today, Memphis and Jerry competed in Part 2. The competition was off the feeds so we don’t know what the competition entailed (though I’m guessing it was part-physical and part-mental, involving something to do with the houseguests and/or events in the house). From what’s been reported, it was a timed competition and Jerry did not do well at all. Memphis won part 2. Tomorrow night during the live show, Memphis and Dan – aka “The Renegades” will go head to head in the final part of the HoH competition. In previous seasons, the competition has involved the two houseguests trying to guess which answer one of the jury members gave to a specific question. Like “What competition did you enjoy the most?” and then an A or B answer. The houseguests have had to try to guess which answer they think the named juror would have picked. It’s based partially on how well the two competing houseguests know the jurors but it also involves a lot of luck and good-guesswork. If I were a betting girl, I’d put my money on Dan for the final competition. Memphis is smart but Dan seems more perceptive and has spent a lot of time listening to his fellow houseguests so if the two are faced with the type of competition I described above, I think Dan stands a decent chance at winning it but anything can happen. Now on to speculation: As a fan of the Renegades, I’d like to see Dan take Memphis to the end if he wins and Memphis take Dan to the end if he wins. However, it’s entirely possible that either of them might choose to take Jerry to the end. I’m not sure that either of them could win against Jerry. From Memphis’ perspective, April, Ollie and Michelle were all allied with Jerry at one point and he didn’t play a part in their evictions. And since Memphis evicted Keesha, he probably doesn’t feel confident that he has her vote. So Jerry would stand a good chance of winning over Memphis by a vote of 4-3 (that’s assuming the jurors vote predictably). From Dan’s perspective, if he were up against Jerry, he could probably count on Keesha, Renny and possibly Libra’s vote. I doubt he thinks April or Ollie would vote for him and I’m not sure how confident he feels about having won Michelle over during their brief trip. I also don’t know if Dan would think Memphis would vote for him if he evicted him so close to the end, so it would be a risk for Dan to make such a bold move if he were to win the final HoH but again, you really never know. Personally, I don’t think either of the Renegades want to risk losing to Jerry but it’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out! In the meantime, I'm rooting for Dan to win the whole thing. I think he's made some bold moves and I'm hoping that if he does make it to the final two, the jurors will see that. But as I think Memphis has also played well, it wouldn't be a huge disappointment if he won either.
