Big Brother 14 Live Feed Spoilers: That's What She SaidAuthor: Kelly West

After last night's episode of Big Brother, which featured the Veto competition and what was arguably the best move made in the game this season, we're left to wonder which of the two nominated houseguests will be sent to the jury house tonight. Did Wednesday's live feeds give us any indication of how things will go? Find out ahead!
Spoiler Alert: The following information is based on the Big Brother live feeds for Wednesday, 8/29 (and some of Thursday, 8/30). If you don't want to be spoiled before tonight's episode, read no further! ![]() Nothing is set in stone in the Big Brother house, but when a houseguest lays down and dies, eviction seems eminent. Since she was put up as a replacement nominee, after Dan masterfully managed to get himself Veto'ed off the block, Britney hasn't done much to try to save herself. During the emotional post-nomination period, she said some things about having already played the game before and not wanting to take anything away from Danielle by campaigning against her. Whether she meant to or not, she was more or less giving the house permission to evict her. At least, that's how it looked. And up until this morning, it didn't seem like there was any fight in her. The whole house is talking like Britney is going and Britney hasn't made any major attempts to sway anyone's decisions, with the exception of making it clear that she's disappointed to be leaving (and that's complaining, not campaigning). Ian appears to be the lone vote to evict Danielle at this point, and he hasn't done anything to try to save Britney either. Granted, maybe he thinks it'll hurt his game to make a public case to keep her. After all, if Britney does go, he's left in the house without his closest ally, and that might be a little bit easier if he doesn't have Danielle angry with him for campaigning against her. He also hasn't encouraged Britney to try to stay, which is just bizarre, as she's outright asked him if it's worth trying to get votes. As loyal as Ian seems to be toward her, he appears to be as resigned to her eviction as she is. Yesterday's feeds were a lot of the houseguests hanging around, talking about movies and music, occasionally singing and getting yelled at by Big Brother. It's annoying when they sing because the feeds cut out almost right away, so that was happening a lot. There was also some production talk (chatting about the press day), but that was repeatedly cut too. I guess at this point, they're running out of things to talk about from their lives, so humming pop hits, quoting movies and talking about the show is all that's left when they aren't talking game. ![]() Speculation is that tonight's Head of Household competition will be an endurance competition. If that's the case, Danielle's got a good chance of winning… if she isn't evicted, that is. Britney is planning on wearing a dress for the live show, under the assumption that she's going tonight. But, if we see her in athletic gear during the live show, maybe that means there's a chance she's staying? (Or she thinks she might be staying.) Thursday, 8/30 It's definitely too soon to tell, but a conversation this morning between Britney and Joe seems to indicate that Britney has some fight in her after all. She spoke with him about campaigning and it sounds like he'd be willing to vote for her to stay if she can get the third vote (she only needs 3 to stay). Joe repeated Britney's own words to her about not wanting to take anything away from Danielle, and said that was what Shane told him when he said they were going to vote to keep Danielle. Britney backtracked on that comment, talking about it as an emotional moment, and now seems determined to straighten that out with Shane and possibly get him back on her side. Britney also mentioned campaigning to Dan today. She'd have a hard time convincing him to vote to evict Danielle. In all likelihood, going to him would only tip him off that she's campaigning, and lead Dan to go to Shane and/or Joe to see where their heads are at. So, while Britney really has nothing to lose by trying to win votes at this point, she might be better off focusing her energy on getting Shane's vote and avoiding Dan altogether. Jenn's another option, but she doesn't seem like a likely bet to evict Danielle either. I like Britney and it's been disappointing seeing her not try to stay all week. So I'll be curious to see how she does today, if she does manage to get into Shane's ear. We'll know later today whether she's successful. And if she is, tonight's eviction will be a dramatic one (especially if Danielle doesn't catch wind of it beforehand). We'll leave this off on a lighter note. Last night, when Britney was eating pistachios, she commented on them by saying, "I love to suck on these." Big Brother didn't miss a beat in responding back in his monotone voice over the intercom: "That's what. She said." Back to top
