The Bluth's Banana Stand Goes On Tour Ahead Of Arrested Development's Season 4 Premiere

Banana stand

There's always money in the Banana Stand! The frozen banana stand has been a source of money, problems and solutions for the Bluth family on Arrested Development. It's also one of the more iconic symbols of the beloved comedy series, which returns for Season 4, at long last, in just a couple of weeks. In anticipation to the return of the series, Netflix has launched the "Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand Worldwide Tour," which kicked off in London today, as you can see from the photo above.

The stand will visit different locations around London on May 8th, 9th, 15th and the 21st, after which, it will cross the pond to visit various cities Stateside, leading up to Arrested Development's Season 4 premiere on Netflix on May 26. The announcement says they're "open for business" as of May 8, which to me, implies that they'll actually be selling frozen bananas. Either way, it's a great photo-op for any Arrested Development fan! And there's a bonus to this news. As if the potential to visit one of the Bluth family's sources of revenue weren't enough, We also hear that there will be special surprise appearances by the Bluth family and friends.

Be sure to follow @ArrestedDev on Twitter to stay up to date on the show and get the latest information on where the stand will be and other "special activities" in each city.

Arrested Development is created by Mitch Hurwitz and centers on a wealthy, eccentric family. The series wrapped up its third season seven years ago, but Netflix is bringing it back for 15 brand new episodes on May 26. Here's all the information we've collected on the series' return.
