Bones Could Have A Situation On Its Hands

As though the cast of Jersey Shore hasn’t gotten enough attention, it seems one of them might be about to get some screen time on a major network.

Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello posted the news today, stating that Bones creator Hart Hanson confirmed hat Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been approached to make a guest appearance on the Fox show in an upcoming episode. Their aim is to make him a murder victim. Hanson elaborated, “A guido is killed and Booth and Brennan enter that world to find out what happens. We’re not sure if it’ll happen or not. Talks are ongoing.”

Ausiello included the latest casting information for the episode, stating that Mike would be playing fitness guru Ritchie “The V” Genero” in the episode, which will air in October and that Fox is currently trying to cast the character’s “Victoria Gotti-esque mom.”

While I don’t think any of the JS people need this kind of ego boost, I’m sort of in love with the idea of hearing Brennan’s take on the “guido/guidette” lifestyle. According to what David Boreanaz said about the episode, Brennan looks at guidos as a tribe. Love it.
