Brit Morgan Joining True Blood's Third Season

Add one more to the third season of True Blood. HBO has cast what should be the last new role for the upcoming season, signing Brit Morgan to play the part of “Debbie.” Apparently, she won’t be a friend to Sookie.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Morgan, whose recent TV credits include ABC Family’s The Middleman and an episode of Cold Case will play Debbie, the ex-girlfriend of Alcide (a new character to the show). Entertainment Weekly posted back in December that Alcide is “Sookie’s werewolf crush” and will be played by One Tree Hill’s Joe Manganiello.

EW described Debbie as “Alcide’s on-again, off-again psycho girlfriend,” based on how the character from the book.
