CBS has announced their scheduled for the 2012-2013 TV season, and while they've hung on to a lot of their existing hits, they've made one big marquee change by moving Two and a Half Men to 8:30 on Thursday nights. That show has been the anchor of their hit Monday night comedy block, but now Men joins its fellow sitcom The Big Bang Theory to help CBS challenge other networks-- namely Fox with The X Factor and American Idol-- on competitive Thursday nights.
The other switches are fairly minimal-- The Mentalist is replacing CSI: Miami on Sunday nights at 10, 2 Broke Girls has bumped up to Two and a Half Men's old slot of 9 p.m. on Mondays, leaving room for new show Partners at 8:30, and new dramas Vegas, Elementary and Made in New Jersey have been given slots on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, respectively.
