If you're a Numbers fan, there's bad news for the series. It appears that CBS has cut its order for the Friday night procedural from twenty-two episodes to sixteen.

The Hollywood Reporter posted the news, stating that Numbers, which is in its sixth season, hasn't performing well in the ratings as of late. Last week, the drama series, which follows an FBI agent and his math-wiz brother as they attempt to solve crimes, brought in 7.9 million viewers overall. CBS' decision to cut its order down from 22 to 16 doesn't bode well for the series.

CBS has a number of drama series set to premiere during midseason, among which is the return of the Canadian produced Flashpoint. The Reporter says Flashpoint does well on Fridays, which seems to be a rarity in TV these days. We'll have to see whether or not the show, which is currently airing its third season in Canada, performs when when it comes back next year.
