Carla Gugino Signs On For Next Season Of Californication

Most anyone I know who has ever seen Carla Gugino in a movie has come away pretty much slack-jawed at her hotness, and yet, she's not quite a name-brand actress and is still forced to star in garbage like The Unborn. So now she's taking the refuge known to many actresses underappreciated by the movies: television.

Deadline Hollywood reports that Gugino and Addison Timlin have both signed on for major roles on the upcoming Season 4 of Californication. Gugino will play a new interest for David Duchovny's lead character, a novelist recently in legal trouble and making his way through the justice system. Timlin will play an actress "starring in the film within the show," which, not being a viewer of Californication, means absolutely nothing to me. And anyway, now that I've mentioned that the lovely Gugino will likely be knocking boots with Duchovny, you're probably too distracted to keep reading this anyway.
