Chevy Chase To Join Joel McHale In Community

The networks have a sense of irony it can now be confirmed. After Cinema Blend’s Mack Rawden sounded off on Joel McHale’s new pilot Community we now get word that the “biggest cocksucker in the world” is joining his show.

Chase has been approached to come on board as a co-star in Community with McHale. The show is described as Stripes at a community college, which could be right up Chevy’s classic alley. Oh god, imagine if this is Chevy returning to form. Making his Alec Baldwin style resurgence, if you will. Even now I sit and wait to see Chase go back to what still makes me begrudgingly acknowledge that I love him. I’ll even take the more mainstream Griswold flavor of Chevy, if that’s what I can get.

Chevy Chase will be making an appearance on Chuck later this season, for those of you who need yet another reason for watching the show. As if Chuck's awesomeness weren't enough.
