Comic Con: Scott Patterson Talks About The Event

Among the cast of NBC’s new series The Event is Scott Patterson, who’s probably best known for his role as Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls. He talked to us about his new role on The Event and the buzz on the GG reunion!

Patterson describes his role in The Event as “the classic story of a regular guy thrown into extraordinary circumstances.” He plays Michael Buchanan, the father of Leila, Jason Ritter’s character’s girlfriend. In the pilot episode, which we previewed at Comic Con today, after his family is attacked and Leila goes missing, we see just how desperate Buchanan becomes as a result.
