ComicCon: Lucy Lawless Brings Three Back To Battlestar Galactica

You can’t keep a good – or bad depending on your point of view – Cylon down. At the ‘Battlestar Galactica’ panel at Comic-Con this year Lucy Lawless made a surprising appearance, walking on stage to join her fellow cast mates. Fans had wondered if Lawless would be reprising her role as D’Anna in the upcoming final season of the series. ”I’m coming back to cause some trouble,” Lawless told the fans.

Details on D’Anna’s return are being kept under wraps, but when she does Ronald Moore will have some explaining to do. Last season the Cylon model Lawless portrayed was “boxed” by the Brother Cavil model. The effect is the closest thing to death that the Cylons experience. Essentially everything about her particular model has been sealed away. Why and how she comes back will be interesting. I’m guessing that Baltar and Six will somehow be involved in that plan.

Moore said that D’Anna’s return is planned for around episode 10, and Lawless is signed for 2 or 3 episodes. He also reinforced the idea that the Cylons actually do have a plan, and D’Anna is a part of it. ”We will unbox her and spring D’Anna forth!”

Lucy Lawless on BSG brought in a lot more fans to watch, I'd hardly call it a mistake. :)

I have never liked anything Lucy Lawless has appeared in. There's something about her that is simply a big turn off. I personally believe it was a majot mistake to have her on BSG

Me too. I'm glad shes coming back, I miss seeing her on my TV screen. She's my favorite actress.

I'm so excited that Lucy is coming back to Battlestar and she's very talented. I only watch the show because of her and because I'm a big fan of Lucy Lawless.

I myself am happy about the return of D'anna on battlestar Galactica. Lucy lawless is a talented actress.
She makes the show interesting. I,m a big fan of lucy lawless and every show she ever does.
I watch BSG becouse of her character. I just knew she would somehow come back. They need to make
D'Anna a major permanet one.They'll keep my vewing.If she goes so do I.

I KNEW FROM THE VERY BEGINING THAT LUCY WOULD BE COMING BACK FOR OTHER EPISODES. I HAD THAT FEELING WHEN SHE WAS BOXED, BECAUSE ONLY HER...KNEW THE 5 FACES OF THE CYLONS LEFT TO REVEAL, AND THAT THEY WOUKD WANT TO BRING HER BACK TO KNOW WHO SHE SAW AND ALL OF THE FUN THINGS WE'RE GONNA GET TO C WHEN SEASON 4 OF BATTLESTAR GALACTICA COMES BACK NEXT YEAR 2008. I BET SEASON 4 IS GOING TO BE A KNOCK OUT. SO TO ALL THIS SHE DID INDEED HAD TO COME BACK AND REPRISE HER ROLE AS Dâ€™ANNA.

I knew she was coming back before she was boxed. She had TOO much fun doing that, (or it certainly seemed that way) she had to come back. Charis.xX
