Could Ricky Gervais Be Headed To Dunder Mifflin?

Could Ricky Gervais Be Headed To Dunder Mifflin? Is there actually a chance that David Brent could be making an appearance at the Dunder-Mifflin Scranton Branch? Well, I’m not sure about that but if what TV Guide has to say is true, comedian Ricky Gervais wouldn’t mind bringing another one of his characters to the American version of his series, The Office.

According to TVGuide.com, Gervais, who created the original (UK) version of The Office would like to appear on the NBC version of the series. He has an idea to bring his Extras character Andy Melman to the show. Gervais told TV Guide, “I'd quite like them to maybe be watching an episode of Extras, and Michael Scott comes along and goes, 'This guy is no good. If they ever do a remake, I think I should do that part.’”

I’d personally love to see how Michael Scott interacts with Gervais’ Office character David Brent but to be honest, Ricky Gervais in any role appearing on The Office would be glorious. The man could show up as a copy machine repairman and he’d probably steal the entire episode. Office writers – make it happen, please!
