Daphne Zuniga Returning To Melrose Place

What would the new Melrose Place be without the return of some of the old characters? It looks like viewers of the CW’s remake/spin-off the series will get to be seeing an appearance by photographer Jo Reynolds (played by Daphne Zuniga) at some point during the series’ first season, which premieres this fall.

Entertainment Weekly posted the story, stating that Zuniga, who was last seen on The CW’s One Tree Hill will be reprising her role as Jo for “at least two episodes” and that her character will be returning to town after enjoying success as a successful professional photographer. Pretty vague but still, that is interesting news for fans of the original series who are planning to tune in to see what The CW does with the new version of the show.

While plenty of MP fans remember Jo, I’m sure a lot of us recall Zuniga from her role as Princess Vespa in the Mel Brooks Star Wars spoof Spaceballs. While Jo was a down-to-earth kind of chick, Princess Vespa was all diva. “It’s my industrial strength hairdryer, and I can’t live without it!”
