The Daytime Emmy Awards were announced yesterday. Yes, apparently there’s a whole set of TV shows that air before primetime! If you’re a fan of soap operas, kids shows, talk shows and daytime game shows, these awards are for you! This years winners include Ellen DeGeneres, Rachael Ray and Tyra Banks. Bindi Irwin, whom I’m only familiar with because her show is often featured in clips on The Soup also took home an award.
