Dollhouse And Terminator Get Ratings Boost Thanks To DVR Numbers image
Finally there’s some good ratings news for Dollhouse and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles! Apparently, a substantial number of viewers of both shows are DVRing the series and watching it later. What? People are too busy to watch TV on Friday nights? You don’t say.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Live+7 DVR data showed a 30% rating increase after post-premiere-date viewing was included. This bumped Dollhouse up from 2.0 in the adult demo number to a 2.6. Terminator: SCC saw a 36% boost when DVR viewings were factored in.

Given the both series poor showings in the ratings, this is definitely good news. Hopefully it might even given Fox reason to consider moving both shows away from Fridays. It might also be nice if they put Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader back on Friday nights so my dad can stop asking me why its not on anymore.
