Early Eviction For Big Brother Houseguest

Well, isn’t this an interesting development. It seems the Big Brother house is short one houseguest tonight and I’m not talking about the recently evicted Jessie, either. Today CBS confirmed what feed-watchers learned earlier and that is that Chima has left the compound.

Below is the full press release issued by CBS on Chima’s eviction:

"Chima has been evicted by the producers from the Big Brother house for violating the rules. She will not be part of the show's jury. Her eviction will be addressed on an upcoming broadcast of the show."

That’s it. In other words, stay tuned for drama. I’m not holding my breath that the BB producers will actually deliver the goods on Chima’s exit. Neil left during BB9 and the vague reason given was that he left due to family issues. There was always speculation as to whether or not that was the real story. That said, would it be that hard to believe that Chima went all diva on the BB producers and pushed them to the point where they decided to cut her loose? Considering most believe last week’s eviction episode had to be taped as opposed to being broadcasted live because the producers were concerned that Chima might react poorly to the use of the Coup d’etat power, it seems probable that CBS’s vague explanation is the truth. Still, what exactly are they going to show us on Sunday or Tuesday night? Live feed spoilers ahead!

According to Jokersupdates.com, Chima was nominated with Natalie by Head of Household Michele. We don’t usually see anything post-nomination ceremony on Sunday’s episode, however with one nominee out of the house, someone else will have to go up in their place, so there’s a good chance we will see this drama unfold tomorrow night as opposed to Tuesday.

As for what went on with Chima in the house before the feeds cut and came back later minus one houseguests, here’s what Hamsterwatch.com had posted:

BREAKING NEWS! CHIMA IS GONE! She'd thrown her mic in the hot tub and refused to wear a replacement for a long time, and she & her minions had been bashing, trashing, and hiding clothes and the like.. she also said that Diary had been asking where she thought it had all gone wrong for her.

Sounds like her post-nomination reaction was a big one. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of picture CBS paints of this whole situation and whether or not we’ll actually get to see her walking out the door or if it’ll be along the lines of what the feed-watchers saw, including the houseguests reaction.

And the last unanswered question here is, does this mean no double-eviction on Thursday? I’m thinking yes, unless the BB producers decide to throw a new twist in closer to the end of the season where one of the jury members gets another shot to come back into the house, which would keep the elimination schedule on track for the finale.

UPDATE

According to a statement by Chima posted by The Examiner, she says she quit the show and wasn't kicked off. Whether or not that's true, remains to be seen (if CBS shows what actually happened). Feed updates at Jokers say that a new Head of Household competition took place and Jordan won. This has to be the most bizarre week of BB all season.
