Eli Roth's Hemlock Grove Gets A Creepy New Trailer, Premiere Set For April

2013 is a big year for Netflix, which is rolling out some highly anticipated original programming for its streaming video subscribers, among which are Arrested Development and David Fincher's House of Cards. That covers comedy and politics. For those looking for something a bit scarier, Netflix has Hemlock Grove, which is due out in April, according to the new trailer they've released. Check it out ahead.

Hemlock Grove is based on Brian McGreevy's novel and executive produced by Eli Roth, who also directed the pilot. The plot involves a young girl who's murdered and left to be found near a steel mill. 17-year-old Gypsy kid Peter (Landon Liboiron of Terra Nova) and Roman (Bill Skarsgard of Anna Karenina, also brother of Alexander), the heir to an estate, are among the suspects for her death and they decide to investigate the murder to see if they can figure out what happened.

Netflix debuted a trailer to give us a look at the upcoming series.

The trailer certainly does play up the mystery and scary in this story, with words like "Run before it's too late for you," followed by the sound of a scream. Amidst the creepy and intense moments, there are a lot of familiar faces. In addition to Skarsgard and Liboiron, the cast also includes Famke Janssen (X-Men), Lili Taylor (Six Feet Under), Dougray Scott (Desperate Housewives), and Battlestar Galactica's Aaron Douglas and Kandyse McClure.

And, per the trailer all episodes of Hemlock Grove will debut at once this April. Deadline says April 19.

"The Monster is Within."
