The Science Museum Of Minnesota Is Already Recreating The Shirt Seen In Stranger Things Season 2

As you more than likely know, Stranger Things came back this weekend with the premiere of Season 2. Netflix's smash-hit has a huge and devoted fanbase, thanks to its nostalgia, cool sci-fi, and most importantly, the characters. I'd wager that more than a few people will be dressing as the Stranger Things kids this Halloween, and the Science Museum of Minnesota has got your back when it comes to swag for your costume. The museum got an interesting shout-out in the form of a sweatshirt worn by Dustin, and now they are working on making that shirt available to all to purchase.

During one episode of Stranger Things Season 2, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) wears a sweatshirt with the skeleton of a brontosaurus and the Science Museum of Minnesota logo on it. It makes sense that Dustin would wear a shirt like that given his love of science, and it has not gone unnoticed by the real-life museum. The official Science Museum of Minnesota Facebook page posted a picture from the episode calling out the name drop and revealed that they are currently looking into recreating the shirt to sell to the masses.

We're recreating this shirt and hope to have them soon! Want to be the first to get one? Sign up for our emails and we'll let you know when they're available: https://www.smm.org/subscribe

In the top comment of the same post, they confirmed that they are making the shirt and hope to have it available for sale soon. If you want to know how to get your hands on one, sign up for their email newsletter and they'll let you know how and when to get the shirt. They apparently had no idea they were going to get this shout out but they sure as hell are going to capitalize it and give us all a cool sweatshirt. Stranger Things is a meticulously detailed show and this is just one of many examples of how they hide these little easter eggs in plain sight.

The highly anticipated second season of Stranger Things premiered this weekend and so far the verdict is looking pretty good for the sophomore season. Several are comparing it in quality to the first season of the show, meaning that it hasn't really missed a beat. Season 2 has some hiccups here and there, but overall it's a solid and fun return to Hawkins and the Upside Down. The story picks up one year after Eleven defeated the Demogorgon and Will was rescued from the Upside Down. Will is still feeling the effects of his time in a parallel dimension and some sudden relapses spark trouble for him and the rest of the Hawkins crew,
