HBO’s new comedy Bored to Death premieres this Sunday, September 20th, but you can watch the full pilot episode right now thanks to Amazon.com. The show stars Jason Schwartzman (Funny People, The Darjeeling Limited) as heavy-drinking, writers-blocked novelist Jonathan Ames. After a painful breakup and an unhealthy dose of Raymond Chandler, Jonathan decides to start moonlighting as an unlicensed private detective. Created by the less-fictional version of Jonathan Ames, Bored to Death also stars Ted Danson and Zack Galifianakis as Jonathan’s editor and friend, respectively. If IMDb is to be believed, the likes of Patton Oswalt, Oliver Platt, Kristen Wiig, and Parker Posey will be making appearances at some point down the line as well.
