Dean Cain has been signed to star in a new CBS drama pilot titled ‘Protect and Serve.’ Cain, who is probably best known for his role as Clark in the series ‘Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,’ will play a veteran officer in the series, which centers on the lives of street cops in the Los Angeles suburbs.
Reuters and HollywoodReporter.com reported that along with Cain, Steve Harris and Eric Balfour were also cast as cops in the show. Tamala Jones will play the wife of Harris’ character. Jessica Pare and Victoria Cartagena will also play wives of the characters and Monica Potter is set to play an estranged wife.
In addition to the ‘Protect and Serve’ pilot, Cain will also be appearing in the upcoming CBS original movie, Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness.
