Uh-oh. After only two episodes, Fox has made a decision regarding their new animated series Sit Down, Shut Up. No, they haven’t decided to cancel it (yet) but they are moving the half-hour animated comedy to an earlier timeslot.

According to the Hollywood Reporter after only two episodes, Fox has decided to yank the Mitch Hurwitz created comedy series from its post-Simpsons timeslot and put it on at 7:00 PM on Sunday night, before reruns of American Dad. Meanwhile, what’s left of King of the Hill is going to be moved to SDSU’s original spot at 8:30 p.m.

Technically, 7:00 PM still qualifies as primetime as far as Sunday night’s go but let’s face it, this move isn’t good news for the series, which has barely had the chance to build an audience. This decision could mean that the network is considering putting SDSU out to pasture.
