In case you’re wondering what kind of Mother’s Day programming will be available come Sunday night, Fox has got the Mom-thing all lined up for you with their animated comedy line-up.
Below is Fox’s mommerific Sunday night lineup: SIT DOWN, SHUT UP (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT) Miracle Grohe: “As a deeply spiritual person, I’d like to spend this Mother’s Day on a motorcycle ride with the cute drummer that lives down the street. Unfortunately, I’ll probably be stuck watching my baby.” THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) Marge Simpson: “I will spend Mother’s day the way I always do – eating the runny eggs and burnt toast my kids make and enjoying complete love and attention from my husband until the basketball game comes on.” KING OF THE HILL (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) Peggy Hill: “I would like to spend Mother’s Day helping Sarah Palin get a new hairstyle and glasses – right after eating breakfast in bed.” FAMILY GUY (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) Lois Griffin: “Is it Mother’s Day? Ah, damn it. Well, it’s too late to cancel. I guess I’ll be spending this Mother’s Day at the gynecologist.” AMERICAN DAD (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) Francine Smith: “Why is there only one Mother’s Day? I got two kids and there are 400 days in the year. That’s 800 days of being a mother – at least by my math.” |
