Game Of Thrones Season 3 Spot Teases The Chaos To Come
Those of you who think winter is almost over, think again, winter is coming and soon. The long wait for the highly anticipated third season of Game of Thrones is coming to an end with the epic fantasy set to return to HBO in just over a months time.
And fans aren't the only ones chomping at the bit to see "A Storm of Swords" on the small screen, co-creators D.B. Weiss and David Benioff haven't been shy about expressing their excitement for this year either, repeatedly saying that the chance to adapt George R.R. Martin's third novel was a major reason for getting involved in the project in the first place. And you thought the first two seasons were special. Here's "Chaos," the latest tease for Season 3...
Once again the tease contains no actual footage from the upcoming season (!) but instead merely shows all the major players while Littlefinger narrates with an ominous voice-over. Of course, someone born on such a low rung relishes the ladder that chaos produces, too bad the chaos isn't on display. With the premiere date inching closer, I can't be the only one surprised that were haven't seen much of Season 3 save a series of stills and an invitation to the set but I guess HBO feels they can drum up enough excitement without giving away the milk for free. A little taste wouldn't hurt. Please!
The third season of Game of Thrones premieres on Sunday, March 31 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. The series is based on the “Song of Ice and Fire” saga by George R.R. Martin and stars Peter Dinklage, Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
