HBO Sets Premiere Date For True Blood Season 3

Calling all True Blood fans! HBO subscribers looking forward to the premiere of the third season of the vampirific drama series True Blood should keep the evening of June 13th free as HBO has set that as the date for the season premiere.

TV Guide posted the news, stating that the third season of True Blood is set to premiere on Sunday, June 13th at 9/8c. That’s just under three months away! Now for the semi-spoiler for the new season (it’s pretty vague but consider yourself warned, nonetheless!)…

TV Guide also reported that series creator Alan Ball has stated that we’ll be saying goodbye to one main character when the show returns this summer. By “saying goodbye,” does that mean dead? Or just packing up and leaving the crazy, supernaturally dramatic world that is Bon Temps? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
