Hayek Gets Recurring Role On 30 Rock

Jack Donaghy’s got a new love interest and guess who’s playing her? The gorgeous Salma Hayek, that’s who! Hayek has been signed up to play the recurring role of “Elisa” in 30 Rock, which is set to premiere its third season later this month.

Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment seems very happy to be bringing Hayek on board, saying “Salma is truly a gifted talent and an incredible force in our industry. I've had the privilege of working with her and I can't wait to see what comedic sparks fly with our brilliant 30 Rock cast.”

Weinberg’s enthusiasm is equally matched by Hayek’s, who said, “I have been a fan of Tina's talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL. I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of 30 Rock.”

30 Rock premieres on October 30th at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
