Here's The Walking Dead And Love Actually Parody You Always Wanted

Guys, it’s Christmas time, and during the holidays, you tell the truth. So I have to be honest when I say this video is everything my walker-loving, Love Actually-fangirl heart has ever wanted. Check out the amazing mashup of The Walking Dead and Love Actually, below.

Fans of The Walking Dead have been doing mashups of Andrew Lincoln’s now slightly infamous scene where he confesses his love to Keira Knightley in Love Actually for a while now, but there has never been a mashup of this epic magnitude. There is nothing quite as wonderful as watching The Ricktatorship declare his love to a walker, proving there is no fandom quite as bizarre and random as the awkwardly mashed up The Walking Dead/Love Actually fandom.

Also, is it wrong if I think I might ship Fake Rick and Keira Knightley Walker? I certainly like that pairing a lot more than the awkward Beth/Rick love connection that Andrew Lincoln once pitched to The Walking Dead showrunners. And was that Carol and Maggie that I saw on Fake Rick’s poster board? Sure, if Daryl dies we riot, but can we also start a “We will also riot if Carol and Rick get together, instead of Carol and Daryl--the same goes for killing off Glenn so Rick and Maggie can get together” group? OK, clearly we will have to work out a catchier group name later…

Despite being several years old, Love Actually has been getting a lot of traction lately since it was “lovingly torn down” in this Honest Trailer. In case you forgot how the actual Love Actually scene went down (or you are one of the cursed few who has never watched this wonderful film), you can watch that here:

This past season on The Walking Dead has been particularly heavy (don’t worry, no spoilers here), and though this video doesn’t deal with the tragedy we experienced in the Season 5 mid-season finale, it does prove the Official Walking Dead Fandom Coping Mechanism. It seems that the best way The Walking Dead fans have found to deal with the awful tragedy this show brings is by creating stupidly hilarious internet memes and videos. This video is officially my favorite fan-made Walking Dead spoof since the rise of the Rick Grimes Dad Joke meme.

Sadly, it looks like this The Walking Dead and Love Actually mashup is going to have to hold us over until the second half of Season 5 premieres on February 8 on AMC. We ended the first half after the group received a devastating blow, and for the first time in a long time, the group’s next steps are completely unclear. So if you’ll need me, I’ll be coping with the mid-season hiatus by watching this video on repeat.
