How To Get A Guy

ABC is planning to premiere a handful of new shows this summer to keep us TV-addicts entertained between seasons. Of the shows to be added to the summer lineup is ‘How to Get a Guy’. Premiering June 12, ‘Guy’ will follow four women as they wander the streets of San Francisco looking for Mr. Right. ABC describes the format of the show as “docu-soap” which I’m pretty sure is just a trendy way of saying “reality TV”.

’How to Get a Guy’ is produced by the same people who brought us ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ but this isn’t exactly a makeover show. The subjects of the show are young and attractive women. They’ll be coached in the art of dating because apparently being young and attractive isn’t enough to land a man these days (I blame the internet).
