Jerseylicious Gets A Third Season

Who would have thought the American public would suddenly become obsessed with all things New Jersey? The much maligned state has been front and center over the last few years, thanks in large part to Fred Armisen's impression of New York Governor David Patterson's constant Jersey bashing, and the craze doesn't seem to be dying down.

According to Deadline, the January 2nd episode of Jerseylicious achieved the highest ratings in the history of Style network. In response, it's been given a third season episode order of twenty. That's good news for anyone that saw Beauty Shop and wished it was a bit more trashy.

I tried to watch this program once and found it more upsetting than Jersey Shore. That's right. I sat through all of Snooki's escapades, but I couldn't bring myself to finish one episode of this nonsense. Where have you gone, Jon Bon Jovi? A nation once got its Jersey fix through you. Woo woo woo.
