K-Fed Guest Stars On This Week's One Tree HillAuthor: Kelly West

Lately I’ve started thinking that Kevin Federline was getting a lot more likable. I don’t know if it’s because of all of the bad press Britney has gotten over the recent months or if it’s due more to the good press K-Fed’s gotten (and by good press I mean mostly the lack of bad-press in contrast to his troubled ex-wife) but seeing his name in the headlines doesn’t seem to bother me anymore, especially when it has to do with something entirely un-related to the custody battle. In this case, K-Fed’s getting press for his upcoming guest-spot on The CW’s One Tree Hill.
As reported by Fox News, the first of the three episodes of OTH featuring Kevin Federline will air this Tuesday night. Federline plays Jason, the frontman for a rock band band called “No Means Yes.” His character is described as “cocky and enigmatic.” Despite his character description, he was all business while shooting, according to OTH star Hilarie Burton, who said, “He worked really, really hard and was totally there to act. He wasn't there to make a spectacle of himself or to party or anything.” One Tree Hill, like just about every other CW series appears to have a small but devoutly loyal fanbase but the ratings were struggling as of last season. While I can’t imagine that K-Fed’s appearance on the show is going to bring in swarms of new fans, it certainly can’t hurt in terms of exposure for the show. |
