‘24’ fans can add Kal Penn to the list of confirmed additions to the cast of ‘24’. Penn will join the sixth season of the hit show on Fox playing a member of an Islamic group which is suspected of being part of a terrorist plot. Penn is most commonly known for his role as Kumar in Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.
For all the ladies out there (and some of the guys too), lets take a minute to revel in this news. Penn might be known for playing goofy roles like Kumar or his character in Van Wilder but it should not escape anyone’s attention that the guy definitely has the sexy.
Earlier this month I reported that Eric Balfour (Milo) would be returning to ‘24’ this season. That means in addition to enjoying the uber-manly sexiness of Jack Bauer and equally yummy Wayne Palmer, we now have two more hotties to look forward to. Though I have to say, suspected terrorists in ‘24’ usually end up sweaty and bloody when they come in contact with Jack Bauer so I guess we should reserve judgment on Penn’s yummy-factor until after the show airs.
Disclaimer: I realize that I’ve drenched this bit of news with fan-girliness but a) I’m a girl and b) I’m hoping that this utter display of estrogen-filled news reporting will be noticed by the male writers and inspire them to contribute some more stories to the site and restore some balance up in here.
